Everyone knows that Partini is savoury, rather than sweet.
It all started the other day when the bus pulled away just as Partini made that last lunge towards it.
"Dang," she said. "Now I shall either have to walk in the rain for 20 minutes or wait in the damp for 15."
She headed into Billings for shelter and made a seasonal stop at the dollar store when she thought to linger over the chocolate bar selection.
"Well, it would be silly NOT to ..."
And it MUST have been the right thing to do because then she thought of turning right around and catching the next bus.
And it WAS the right thing because she had never in her LIFE had such a sweet, fresh Big Turk.
Hence the start of a new fixation. Sigh, just after she'd given up the Tab, too.

- We do not have this ' Big Turk' in my country. You imagine my shock and confusion on first reading of such behaviour in a candy store. ZEITGEIST! THen i understand you are talking about having chocolate. I hope you now have stopped eating this 'Big Turk'or you will be size of dollar store.
Here in Bavaria we take the cold shower every day.
Frau Hilda.
Dear Frau Hilda,
Erm, this is a delicate topic.
First, I must point out that this is not a cultural misunderstanding. I was ridiculed to no end in school yesterday when I pulled a Big Turk out of my white satin bag.
It is simple. The name must be changed. I will have to commence a petition to the makers of said confection. I may have to eat another in order to get the information I need.
I wish you all the best with your regimen of gesundheit.
